Was the James Pennington who died in 1808 in New Brunswick the same James Pennington who was baptized in the parish of Upwell, Norfolk, England, in 1749? See the Pennington Family of Upwell, Norfolk, England for more details.

I wrote this article, "James Pennington of New Brunswick and William Pennington of North Carolina, Loyalists during the American Revolution: Were they brothers from Culmstock, Devon, England?," for Generations, the journal of the New Brunswick Genealogical Society.

This beautiful chart shows the descendants of James Pennington (died in 1808) and his wife Mary (Price) Pennington (about 1772-1859) of Queensbury Parish, York County, New Brunswick. Created by Fampres, a German company, the original chart is huge. The PDF file (6.5 MB) showing the chart is also large and may take a while to download. In Adobe Reader, zoom in to 400% to see the chart’s details. Go to the Fampres site for details on how to order a chart showing your own family tree.
