The remains of Barney Clarke were brought to this city on Tuesday from St. Paul and from here the funeral proceeded to Shieldsville, where services were held and interment made. The deceased was one of the earliest settlers of the Township of Erin. He was a widower, and was about 80 years of age. A large family of grown children survive him."
