John Montgomery, a merchant of Exeter, Rockingham Co., NH, for 20 pounds, sells land to John Bond, a shipwright also of Exeter. The land is 20 square rods on the south side of the New Lane commonly known as Carpenter's Row. It is the lot where John Bond now lives and which John Montgomery had purchased from Major John Gilman. Witnessed by John Emery and Noah Emery, 12 Dec. 1768. Recorded 30 July 1787.2Charles H.
