Collection Scope:
Published genealogies and local histories for the U.S. and
Canada.
Special Collections:
The Society's newspaper collection is the second largest in
the United States and dates from the seventeenth century to the present. The
Library also has all U.S. and Canadian population censuses and almost all
pre-1907 Wisconsin vital records.

answer brief reference questions at no charge. For questions requiring more
extensive research, non-Wisconsin residents must enclose a $15 fee which
covers up to one-half hour of research time.

available by mail.
Copies:
Self-service copies are 10 cents from paper and 25 cents from microfilm or
microfiche. By mail, copies are 25 cents per page from paper and 50 cents
from microfilm or microfiche. A service fee will also apply. See

Circulation:
Genealogical resources do not circulate.
Interlibrary Loan:
