Collection Scope: Published genealogies and local histories for the U.S. and Canada.

Special Collections: The Society's newspaper collection is the second largest in the United States and dates from the seventeenth century to the present. The Library also has all U.S. and Canadian population censuses and almost all pre-1907 Wisconsin vital records.

For questions requiring more extensive research, non-Wisconsin residents must enclose a $15 fee which covers up to one-half hour of research time.

Circulation: Genealogical resources do not circulate.
