Collection Scope: Missouri genealogy and local history. The library's Web site also has a collection of full-text material of interest to genealogists.

  • Part of the collection of the Ozarks Genealogical Society.
  • Turnbo manuscripts (early Ozarks stories).

Reference Services: Library staff can do a brief search in indexed sources, but is unable to undertake in-depth research.

Guides: The library publishes a guide to its genealogical resources and a list of professional genealogists.

Copies: The fee for photocopies requested by mail is 50 cents per page with a minimum charge of $1.

Circulation: Some local history and biography material may be checked out of the library if duplicates are available.

Interlibrary Loan: When available, duplicate copies of some local history and biography materials may be lent to other libraries.
