Reference Services:
A search for one name in seven statewide indexes will be
conducted in response to written requests only. The fee is $5 for
Connecticut residents and $15 for non-residents. See http://www.cslib.org/indexsch.htm

Request form is available by mail or telephone or on the Web site.
Guides:
The State Library can provide flyers describing the library's collections
and facilities and reference services provided by mail or e-mail. For a list

Copies:
Copies are 15 cents per page using cash (or 10 cents using
vendacards) self-service or 25 cents per page by
the staff. Copies from microfilm are 25 cents per page. The staff does not
make change.
Circulation:
Genealogies and local histories may not be checked out of the
library, unless an extra copy is available. See the library's circulation

Interlibrary Loan:
Microfilmed newspapers are available through interlibrary
loan. If available, extra copies of genealogies and local histories may be
